How it works
You tap “I’m OK”
Once a day. That is all. That is the entire interaction iok needs from you on an ordinary day.
If you do not answer, we raise the alert
iok does not call anyone straight away. First it reminds you, then it insists, and only if you still do not answer does it reach the end.
Your contacts find out in time
At the final stage we notify your trusted contacts through whichever channel each one prefers, even if they do not have the app installed.

The daily question, with a phrase written for that moment. Nothing has happened yet.
- Attention
You did not answer. iok insists, without leaving your phone.
- Urgency
The last notice for you before anyone else is involved.
- Emergency
Your trusted contacts are notified, with your last known location and your medical information.
Only the last stage involves anyone else. The first three stay on your phone.
What it includes
Panic button
An alert you trigger yourself, without waiting for the stages. It captures your approximate location at that moment.
Up to three trusted contacts
You choose who they are. They do not need an account: they get the alert by email or by message.
Medical information
Blood type, medication, allergies and conditions, visible to your contacts only in a critical situation.
Travel pause
You suspend monitoring while you are travelling or out of coverage, and resume it when you are back.
Alerts along several routes
In the app, by email and by message, in parallel, so the alert never depends on one of them.
An avatar that keeps you company
A companion with a different expression for each stage. It sounds small; it changes how the app feels.
Who finds out, and when
You decide who your trusted contacts are. Your location and your medical information are shared with them only when the alert reaches emergency, or when you trigger the panic button.
What iok is not
iok is not an emergency service and does not replace local emergency services. It is a layer of notice between you and the people you chose, not a helpline.
